1. If I could get away somewhere for the weekend I would go to a small town in Washington. I’m not sure which one – there are so many great ones. I just want to be somewhere surrounded by trees and fresh air.
2. Something I often rant about is the misuse of words! Anyone who knows me in person knows this to be fact. G’ahead, try to slip an ‘irregardless’ past me, I dare you!
3. One item I need to have in my fridge at all time is green leaf lettuce. I need my daily salad and if I don’t get it, I get cranky!
4. My “life-saving” product is Aveeno Positively Nourishing Skin Smoothing Body Wash. My skin is prone to break outs (gross) and this keeps it clear without drying it out, and it smells awesome.
5. A friend is someone who has stuck with you through the thick and thin, who takes you for who you are and supports you when you need it. Someone who can laugh with you in the good times and cry with you in the bad. I’m lucky to have a few people in my life who fit the bill.
6. If I could write my own blank it would be “When I was fifteen, my walls were covered with pictures of _________.”
7. My favorite kind of art is subversive and/or street art. I like art that makes you go, WTF? Like this piece I photographed in a gallery in Pasadena:
I am also a huge fan of street art like Banksy (obviously), Shepard Fairey (the man behind the OBEY piece with Andre the Giant and the Obama HOPE poster) and even Mr. Brainwash.

6. I had a full size door poster of Dolph Lundgren. But my teenage love of all time was Sebastian Bach.
7. Other street artists I love: Space Invader, El Mac. Non street: Audrey Kawasaki, Ryden (even if I haven’t been a fan of his newer stuff), Daniel Martin Diaz, Alex Grey, luke chueh…. just to start.
That’s right… wasn’t there a Dolph Lundgren story shared on your blog at one point?
I had a six foot square poster of the Boys Don’t Cry album cover on my wall. Unfortunately, I woke up one night in the middle of a nightmare and was literally clawing it off my wall. I don’t know what the hell Robert Smith did to me in my sleep, but I was *pissed*.
Invader! I can’t believe I left him out. Good call.
This is such a fun idea for a post! When I was 15 my bedroom walls were covered with….Got Milk? ads. I collected them, and had SO many, covering my walls. I was so weird, haha!
Cool blog :)
Um, that’s actually kind of… awesome. There were some really cool ones!
