Easier said than done.

Sometimes, the hardest thing to do is wait for someone to be ready to talk about something, to know that there’s nothing you can do until that time. Even harder is trying to not be bothered by it.

  1. Always try to remember that your well-being / mental comfort is of importance as well. If they care for you as you care for them (obviously you care quite a bit, given your concern for their comfort), then approaching them might not be as harmful to their psyche as you might think – provided you are respectful, act with tact, and are crystal clear about both your (supposed) early approach and your intentions.
